We had our anniversary dinner at Luminosa and truly could not have picked a better place. From the food to the service to all the little personal touches, everything felt incredibly special. Our server, Ace, was AMAZING. We pretty much based all our meal choices on his recommendations and he did not steer us wrong once! Every single dish was incredible, and the whole meal felt thoughtful from beginning to end. What really got us was how sweet the ENTIRE staff was about our anniversary. They even gave us a handwritten card signed by the staff with well wishes, and it genuinely made us tear up. It was such a small gesture that made the night feel so much more personal and memorable. We cannot recommend Luminosa enough. The food, atmosphere, and service were all 10/10. And seriously…when the server says people drive hours for their house made bread, they’re serious. GET THE BREAD AND THE SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM. TRUST ME!! 🫶💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Luminosa is by far the best restaurant that I’ve visited in quite some time. Hyperlocal ingredients always make for the best food, but what I found really cool is that even the plates are made by a local artisan. Every single dish we got was phenomenal enough that I will remember the experience of eating it. Their inventive dishes were exceptional, but even the classic Italian staples blew me away. The service was just as good and memorable as the food (shout out to the super cool hostess, and amazing waiters Jesse & Porter!) everybody is so welcoming and they truly seem passionate about the food being served. Next time we’re in Asheville we will definitely be back!

We celebrated our friends’ elopement at Luminosa and it was such a memorable experience. The service was out of this world - they really did everything and more to make our evening even more special. Our server, Jessie, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the dishes. But in addition to the exceptional service, the food was out of this world. This was one of those meals where we couldn’t talk about anything other than how good everything tasted. The flavors were insane and each dish somehow exceeded our expectations over and over again. I couldn’t recommend Luminosa any higher. It was an exceptional experience.

Local ladies found our new favorite restaurant! Each year my friend, coworker and boss who owns the local bar I work at treats her employees to a Birthday Date. This year we chose Luminosa because we both LOVE playing tourists downtown and finding new spots to recommend as local bartenders at the oldest dive bar in Asheville. The folks here hooked us up! The vibe was chill and so unpretentious! Our server felt like an old friend we had known for years and he treated us to an amazing bubbly juniper drink and other birthday goodies like Carpacio and a pistachio cannoli. We of course ordered the Rigatoni and a KC strip with bone marrow reduction both hit on every level you would expect! The surprise of our night was a simple wood fired cabbage dish that we devoured so fast we forgot to take a photo of!! Anyway whether you're visiting Asheville or have lived here forever this is a spot to try! The vibe in the dining room is relaxed yet sophisticated with a neighborly welcomed feeling. Definitely make a reservation though. We called them to book but there are also online options Oh! And after dinner venture up to the rooftop lounge for stunning views! We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and were blown away at our dining experience. The staff treated us like royalty! We recieved several gifts from the kitchen that were all delicious and made with care. You can tell right away the staff has a passion for serving beautiful exquisite dishes. Every single bite was full of flavor and surpise. We tried the lemon pizza, lamb, and an outstanding rhubarb pie. An experience to remember!
